Picnic at the Park

Madelynne's preschool class had a final party together at our local park.  The weather was chilly, but the kids had a blast running around and playing on the playground together.  We all packed our own lunches and brought a dessert to share with everyone.  It was nice to get together with the kids and parents.  Luckily, three of the girls will be doing the same program with the same amount of days as Madelynne.  We all requested the same teacher and have our fingers crossed.  Madelynne's class went together and got Miss Mary a gift card and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Ze-sters Love

Madelynne loves when her and Charlotte wear matching outfits.  She asks all the time if they can be twins. The girls were wearing matching zebra print outfits and I thought this would be a great time to take some pictures of my little cuties!!!!

Ice Cream Celebration

After we picked up Madelynne at school, we headed to our favorite ice cream shop to celebrate.  It was a gorgeous day outside and this celebrations required ice cream!!!

Last Day of School

Everyday, Daddy get to take Madelynne to school.  Since I have been on maternity leave, I have been picking Madelynne up from school.  Today was her last day at the actual school.  We will have a picnic at the park on Wednesday!  She loves coming home with art projects!  This one had a picture of her from the beginning of the year and one from the end of the year!

First Day vs Last Day

Today was Madelynne's last day of preschool.  She has trying blossomed this year.  She was a very scared 3 year old when we dropped her off on the September morning.  She use to cry and not want Steven to leave.  Throughout time, she has grown to love being at school with her friends.  Towards the end, she would enter the classroom, start playing and not even bat an eye when we would go to leave.  Check out how much she has grown and changed since her first day on September 8, 2010.

Silly Girls!!!

What do you do when the weather is hot or rainy?  Well in our household, we take pictures and act silly!!!!

Biker Girl

Our weather finally got nice out!  Since the kids are still in school, we decided to enjoy the peace and quiet of our cul-de-sac.  Madelynne loves to ride her bike.  She zips up and down the sidewalk!  Since our spring was mostly rain, Madelynne is often found zipping around our island in the kitchen.  Watch your toes because it can be a little dangerous!!!

Mother's Day Tea

Madelynne's preschool hosted a Mother's Day Tea!  It was the cutest thing ever.  The students painted and decorated picture frames, colored place-mats and sang several lovely songs about their moms.  My wonderful husband even took some time off of work and helped Miss Mary with some crafts.  Boy, did I marry an amazing man.

Happy 3 month Birthday Charlotte Alyvia!

Check it out....I'm 3 months old!!!

It is hard to believe that Charlotte is 3 months old!  She is getting so big and developing more and more each day!  She loves to sit and up see what is going on in the world around her.  She is constantly watching her big sister, Madelynne.  She is sleeping 6-8 hours a night.  She usually falls asleep around 9:30-10:00 and will sleep till 5:00-6:00 am.  She is eating about 5 times a day!  Charlotte loves bath time.  She loves to splash in the water!  Charlotte still isn't a fan of tummy time during the day.  She is a tummy sleeper, so she thinks you are putting her down for a nap or bed time when you put her on her tummy!  She gets really mad.  She is cooing up a storm.  She loves to lay on the couch and have conversations with me in the early morning.  She talks the most when it is just the 2 of us and no one else is around.  She also loves to suck on her hands.  We have tried a pacifier many times and she has no interests.  She gags on it.  She would rather suck on her first 2 knuckles.  She is also very interested in her fingers and hands.  She is constantly looking at them and linking her fingers together!
