Charlotte and I were playing around before bath time.  We were having fun talking and playing with the blanket on our bed.  She was full of smiles and conversation!  Here are some of my favorites!!!

Sleeping Beauty

Look at what I did last night.....

Charlotte slept for 10 hours last night!  She went to bed at 7:50 pm and woke up at 5:50 am.  Just in time for Mommy to watch the Royal Wedding!  She ate and played for about an hour and then returned back to bed from 7:00-10:00 am.

Parade of Clowns

Madelynne's preschool class put on a clown parade to celebrate the upcoming Apple Blossom festival.  I might be a little bias, but she was the cutest clown ever!!!  Each student played a musical instrument while they paraded down the sidewalk in front of their proud parents and the 4 year old classes.  Madelynne played the triangle!!  She was so excited to see Charlotte and Mommy!

Madelynne loves Charlotte and Charlotte loves Madelynne.  These two girls are the best of friends already.  Madelynne always wants to hug and kiss her little sister.  She is constantly asking us to snuggle Charlotte.  Charlotte loves her big sister.  She gets the biggest smile on her face when Madelynne starts talking or singing.  Charlotte will turn her head and looks for Madelynne whenever she enters a room!  I just love watching them interact with one another!!!  I can't wait to see them grow closer and become best friends!!!

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter!  We spent the weekend celebrating with my parents.  They came down on Friday and left Saturday.  Easter morning was just the 4 of us.  It was Charlotte's first Easter.  The Easter bunny brought lots of goodies for the girls.  It was a nice and quiet day!

Birthday Party!!!

Madelynne had a very small birthday party with us and my parents.  It was full of presents, playing and a chocolate birthday cake.  She wanted a Tangled cake!!!

Fashionista

Madelynne is our little fashionista.  She is all about her dresses, skirts, shoes and hair accessories.  Some times she can be totally out of control!!  It can be a fight to get her to leave the house in pants or to wear something comfy.  She got some new spring clothes for her birthday and put on a mini fashion show!!!

Miss Madelynne turns 4!!!!

Today Madelynne turned the BIG 4!!!  We can't believe that our baby girl is four years old.  She has grown so much this year, not only physically but also emotionally and socially.  She is doing great at preschool and is learning so much.  She can count up to 40, knows all her letters, sounds of the letters, and so much more.

We let her decide what she wanted to do for her birthday.  She picked to go out to lunch at Panera and then to come home and play!!!  She is such a homebody and often doesn't want to do much but play with her toys.  We spent the evening watching Tangled and having a picnic dinner in the living room!
